Offset Rear Suspension Tension Rods

View

Give your neon maximum grip by stuffing fender wells full of tire rubber!

Keep the tires and your expensive wheels from becoming paper weight by preventing them from rubbing on the rear trailing link.

By cold forming an offset into factory tension rods (trailing links), the offset rods allow you to run tires as wide as 225 in rear without worries. No need to run potentially dangerous spacers which can not only mess with your suspension, as well as throw wheels off balance due to poor craftmanship.

A OEM Mopar part - only better. These modified tension rods effectively create upward of 1/2" ADDITIONAL clearance between the wheel's lip and the rod. Works on wheels from 13" to 20"!!

Shipping extra - see table below. For 1995-99 neon ONLY.

Finishins Options.

  • Stripped to bare netal and finished in high gloss black for $35.
  • Stripped to bare metal, ideal for powder coating for $25.

When you install the modified tension rods, return your stock ones in same box and receive $25 refund.
